White Chocolate Grits

  3 cups Water
  2 cups Heavy Cream
  1 cup Adluh Stone-ground White Grits
  1 teaspoon Salt
  1/2 cup Sugar
  1 tablespoon Vanilla
  1 1/2 cups White Chocolate chips or shaved

Bring water and cream to a boil. Add grits and salt. Bring back to a boil, stirring constantly and reduce heat to a slow boil. Stirring frequently, cook for 45-60 minutes or until grits are no longer gritty. Add sugar and vanilla and stir until completely incorporated. Add chocolate and stir until completely incorporated. Grits should be served almost immediately. If not serving immediately, cover with plastic wrap. It may be necessary to add more liquid if grits sit too long.
